PVC Toners

Astropol supply a range of PVC toners that are used primarily for colour control purposes.

These Toners can be supplied in either Astrobatch (Pellet) or Astroblend (Powder) form, in a variety of packaging formats from Bulk IBC containers to bespoke low melt EVA sachets - ideal for adding direct to the Mixer, dust free, with no waste.

Our Astrobatch & Astromicro pellet Toners can be used in virgin PVC to maintain colour tolerance and also to shift colour requirements on-line. In addition to this they are also useful when processing regrind PVC. Many manufacturers are now using more re-processed PVC as a result of both cost saving and environmental considerations.

Dosing our Pellet toners on-line masks the natural degradation of PVC that comes with PVC processing and enables the manufacturer to produce quality PVC profile from 'B Grade' material.

Our Astroblend (Powder) toners are more commonly used in conjunction with PVC dryblend. Here customers have the ability to tone the colour of their compound whilst still at the mixing stage, giving a homogenous blend ready for processing.

Astroblend toners are also used in associated additives businesses, for example they can be used as part of a Stabiliser / Lubricant '1 Pack'
