Established in November 1991, Astropol is an independent, privately owned company, controlled by a board of directors.
Our expertise lies in Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) technology, with particular emphasis on colour solutions for the PVC and
associated additives business.

We manufacture and supply a wide range of products such as pellet or powder Masterbatch for colour or additive preparations, as well as small lot custom PVC compounds offered either as pellets or dryblends, often formulated to achieve specific technical or colour parameters and can be rigid, flexible, cellular and PVC/wood blends.

In addition to our core business, our chemical background and diverse production facility enables us to also support other industries such as chemical mixing as well as mixing of colour preparations for markets away from our core PVC focus.

Our Facility is located near Manchester in the North West of England, where we supply, in the main, the UK and Irish market with a limited presence in territories beyond.

The industries we serve include rigid (uPVC) building product manufacturers such as window frame and pipe extruders, as well as the trade extrusion sector. This is in addition to flexible PVC based applications such as cable, hose, footwear and flooring. Our portfolio also includes the Injection moulding market.

Accredited with UKAS approved BSI ISO 9001-2000 Quality management system, we strive for continuous improvement of our management systems to include heath, safety and environmental policies. Astropol is also a member of the British Plastics Federation (BPF).
