Astropol Ltd recognises its environmental duties under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and accompanying legislation and will strive through a process of continuous improvement, to conduct all of its operational activities in such a way as to minimise potential damage to the Environment.

WCS EN ISO 14001:2015

Astropol is registered with WCS and is ISO14001:2015 certified with an environmental management system. Through its environmental policy the company is committed to continuous improvements in its control of activities that may have an impact on the environment. Additionally, attention is paid to ways in which waste, both in terms of energy and materials, can be effectively reduced in a sustainable manner.

Astropol is registered with BSI to ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Astropol is committed to a process of continuous improvement and to create an operation capable of responding to the increasing safety and environmental expectations of the marketplace. Ongoing training of all members of staff is an integral part of the quality culture of the company.

BPF Members

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) is the leading trade association of the UK Plastics Industry (representing approximately 80% of turnover) and is a springboard for industry action, existing to exploit common opportunities and resolve shared problems.

Astropol Ltd is a committed member of the BPF Additives Group and regularly attends meetings and seminars to ensure that we are completely up to date with new initiatives and changes in legislation.

Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Astropol Ltd is committed to a work environment that is free from human trafficking, forced labour and unlawful child labour. It also strongly believes that it has a responsibility for promoting ethical and lawful employment practices.
