Current Vacancy – Export Sales Manager

We are recruiting for an Export Sales Manager to be UK-based with international travel. 

This newly created position offers an experienced and driven Export Sales Manager the opportunity to shape and lead our international growth strategy. With a focus on expanding our presence in key global markets you’ll collaborate closely with our UK-based sales and technical teams to deliver excellent service standards while increasing global sales volume and market share.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage all export sales activities with a focus on achieving sales targets and expanding our market presence internationally.
  • Develop sales strategies including appointing and managing agents and distributors in different regions.
  • Customer relationship management including developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Business development activities including identification of new business opportunities and increasing market share.
  • Market analysis including reporting on industry trends, competitor activity and potential areas for growth.
  • Develop and maintain a sales strategy to include an export sales plan, retention activities and budget in line with business objectives.
  • Team collaboration ensuring close and productive working relationships with other departments including customer service, UK sales and technical.
  • Closely monitor the export sales performance plan and report progress and key information monthly.
  • Represent the Company at international trade shows.
  • Ensure that the Company trading terms and all associates legislative requirements are consistently met.

What we are looking for

  • Proven track record in international sales, preferably within the plastics sector
  • Strong knowledge of export logistics, incoterms, and trade compliance
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach

Current Vacancy – Sales Administrator

Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding company dedicated to providing exceptional sales and technical support to its customers. This newly created, multifaceted role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator to grow their skills and receive tailored training within a supportive and high-performing team environment. 

Acting as a central liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, the Sales Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end order process from production through to dispatch. This position is key to maintaining the company’s commitment to delivering consistently high service standards.

Responsibilities will include but are not restricted to

  • Liaising with customers daily via telephone and email to accept sales orders
  • Communicating effectively with the production and planning teams on production dates, order progress and transport queries
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships, communicating the progress of orders and dealing with all queries promptly and in a professional manner. 
  • Creating correspondence to customers and ensuring effective follow up.
  • System and document management including maintenance and administration of the CRM system
  • Acting as liaison between all internal departments and customers providing a continued high level of service.
  • Attending sales meetings, preparing sales statistics & KPI’s, taking notes and distributing minutes and monitoring all follow up actions as required.
  • Supporting the sales team with creating and monitoring social content and marketing literature
  • Export Management planning, organising, coordinating, and controlling all activities of the export of goods and services to other countries
  • Deciding on freight movements, meeting savings objectives to achieve the best and most efficient route to market.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience within a sales role
  • Previous experience working within manufacturing
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise workload and react quickly to urgent tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Confident communicator, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
